A number of open tenders floated by RasGas come to an end over the next month.
Companies have just a few days to tender for a contract to supply, install and commission new radio mini-towers at various locations at the Ras Laffan site in Qatar, with bids having to be submitted by September 1.
Three tenders close on 15 September including a contract to monitor and maintain cathodic protection systems, and another providing IT security strategies.
Two open tenders close on September 22; the first being for a contractor to provide a dedicated team of 140 plus personnel to operate RasGas’ lifting equipment and carry out other rigging services.
The contract duration is for a period of three years tentatively from 15th February 2015 with two years optional extension.
The other is the supply of chemicals and maintaining the quality of the treated water for Ras Laffan’s terminal firewall systems.
