What is the product?
Integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider Unique Maritime Group, has launched its integrated surface diver monitoring system, called the eDMS100 Diver Monitoring System. The system features dive report creation; sensor fault indication; customisable alarms; remote network view access; and complete wireless maintenance access.
What does the eDMS100 do?
The unit provides a surface supplied Air, Nitrox and Mixed gas diving monitoring system. The project vision was to create the ultimate solution for the diving industry and to be the bench mark for the ever increasing demand in the industry to monitor and log the life support function and the critical parameters of surface supply dives.
What is new or different about the eDMS100?
The real challenge was deciding how far to take the monitoring. After some brain storming sessions followed by some focus sessions, Unique Maritime Group identified the key parameters for the eDMS100 system to monitor. The eDMS100 has a minimum of 2000 hours logging capacity.
Why should customers choose this product?
Operating via a PLC/PC based unit that is housed in a standard 19” electronics rack with remote sensor stations located at key areas around the dive system. Some of key features include: Full sensor logging; event and alarm logging.
