Saudi oil and gas engineering services firm Mohammad Al-Mojil Group (MMG) announced yesterday it has delivered three state-of-the-art vessels for its fleet in the Marine Services Division, which will serve Saudi Aramco’s offshore oil and gas platforms.

The vessels comprise one 70-man crew boat and two service vessels.

MMG President and CEO Ebrahim Zadeh, the addition of these three vessels in the fleet is a major step forward in executing MMG plans to improvise and enhance its marine operations by upgrading its fleet in order to meet the expected increase in demand in the shipping and marine sector.

The company says that the Marine Services Division is a key component of the group and has created a niche for itself in the shipping industry. It was the first Saudi company to offer a fully serviced fleet of vessels with dedicated equipment and skilled manpower to service Saudi Aramco’s offshore projects.

MMG currently serves Qatar Petroleum, Saipem, Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company, J. Ray McDermott, Global Rushaid, and Schlumberger in addition to Aramco.

Marine Division operates in the area of pre-commissioning and commissioning for offshore platform and all marine related tasks. It has been providing maintenance, hook-up and commissioning and drilling support for oil rigs since 1960.
