The 2012 SPE Middle East Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Conference and Exhibition (MEHSSE) will take place 2–4 April at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The sixth edition of the event will explore the theme ‘Sustaining World Energy through an Integrated HSSE and Business Approach’.
The opening ceremony will include comments from industry leaders such as Ali Al Jarwan, CEO of ADMA-OPCO and Conference Chairman; H.E. Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water; and Ganesh Thakur, 2012 SPE President and Vice President, Global Advisor and Chevron Fellow of Chevron Energy Technology Company.
Over the 3-day conference, the agenda includes an executive plenary session discussing the conference theme and six panel sessions discussing Occupational Health Risk Assessment (Preventative Approach), Managing Productivity Increase: Sickness Absenteeism and Presenteeism, Best Practices in Asset Integrity/Process Safety Management, Drilling Safety Issues, Best Practices to Achieve Sustainability: Where Are We Today?, and Environmental Impact: Perception Versus Reality. The technical agenda will also comprise of 21 technical sessions and various poster presentations.
