Arabtec Construction CEO Boyd Merrett will step down from his post, according to a stock market filing on 22 October, as reported by Oil & Gas Middle East’s sister publication Construction Week.
The group chief operating officer, Wail Farsakh, “will assume the responsibilities of chief executive officer for Arabtec Construction until further notice,” according to the document.
In March 2019, group CEO of parent company Arabtec Holding Hamish Tyrwhitt stepped down from his position, with Peter Pollard taking over as acting group CEO.                                                                 Â
