National Oil Corporation (NOC) has lifted force majeure on Sharara crude oil loading from Zawiya port. A valve that had been closed by an unidentified group was reopened on July 21.

Tests confirmed that all valves along the affected pipeline are now operational, and oil production and operations have resumed.

NOC calls the valve closure a “deliberate act of sabotage,” although no group has claimed responsibility for it. The company noted in a press release that authorities are searched for those responsible.
