Kuwait’s director-general of the General Authority for Industry, Abdul Karim Taqi, said that the nation has plans to build its first techno-complex, which will help boost its industrial capacity, according to a report by state news agency KUNA. The complex will have an area of 200,000 square metres.
He noted that consultancy studies for components, sections and complex management are slated for completion by the end of the year. The complex will primarily contribute to the petrochemicals, renewable energy and water sectors through industrial and technical research.
It will also include training centres for the industrial sector as well as support for small and medium businesses.Â
