L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering wins two large contracts from ONGC

The two EPCIC projects are worth up to $723mn

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited (LTHE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has won twin orders from India’s Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

The engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contracts awarded are for the development of Heera Panna Block of Western Offshore basin which is located about 70km southwest of Mumbai High.

The project includes two well head platforms, approximately 49km of subsea rigid pipelines, riser installation and modification work at seven existing platforms and Heera Process Complex.

The second contract involves the development of Mumbai High South field of Western Offshore basin, which is located about 210 km to the west of Mumbai city. The project includes one water injection process platforms bridge connected to existing WIS platform, living quarters for 100 men, modification and interconnection of all the utilities with existing WIS, BHS, SLQ platforms.

The contracts were awarded through international competitive bidding on a lump sum turnkey basis, and are worth up to $723mn.
