Axalta, a global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, showcased its’ latest industrial coating technology, products and solutions at the International Pipeline & Coating Conference (IPCC) 2019 held in Abu Dhabi recently.

At IPCC this year, Axalta highlighted its solution for 3-layers coating system primed with Nap-Gard® FBE utilising the latest automated flame spray equipment in partnership with IBIX for field joint coating using our thermoplastic powder Plascoat® Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) for oil and gas pipelines. Axalta high performance polyolefin powders can be applied in the factory or on-site. The coatings are engineered to closely match the factory applied pipe body topcoat which engineered to meet ISO 21809, DIN 30670 and DIN 30678 standards.
