Phoenix Contact is adding a customized solution for impedance-sensitive signal circuits with more than two signal wires to its Termitrab complete range of narrow surge protective devices for MCR technology.
This means that narrow protective devices for 3-conductor applications with an overall width of 6 mm are available with immediate effect. These products fit seamlessly into the TERMITRAB complete product range, and also feature advantages such as the pluggable design and the advantages of optional visual remote signaling.
There is also a new, pluggable solution for intrinsically safe areas: the new TTC-6P-3 surge protective devices have a much higher rated current, at 5 A, than the HF variants. The new protective devices for 3-conductor applications are typically used in temperature measurements, for example. The lack of resistors in the protective circuit means there is no fundamental attenuation. There is no impact on the measuring signals.
