Saudi oil giant Aramco has updated its senior leadership titles aligned with international best practice, reflecting the strategic roles and responsibilities of these positions, effective January 1, 2023.
Under this, the title of senior vice president has been changed to executive vice president; the vice president to senior vice president and general manager to vice president, said Aramco in its statement.
These changes are limited to job titles only and do not affect organisational structure, the energy giant noted.
The oil giant has made several project announcements during the past few months. On December 15, Aramco and French oil major TotalEnergies took a final investment decision for the construction of Amiral complex, a world-scale petrochemical facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
