Nucore Group, a specialist engineering company providing integrated engineering solutions in hazardous environments, has appointed Phil Davie as chief operating officer.
With over 30 years’ experience with tier one and service engineering companies, most recently as senior vice president at Aker Solutions, Phil will take on the responsibility for all group operations.
Mark Fraser, Nucore Group’s CEO said: “We are delighted to have brought someone of Phil’s calibre on board, and believe his track record in the energy sector will be an enormous asset to the company. Having come through 2020 strongly, Nucore Group is now executing ambitious growth and diversification plans, both within local and overseas markets, and we see Phil’s appointment as a critical part of this”.
Davie added: “I am thrilled to join Nucore Group at this key stage in its growth, and I am looking forward to working with the highly capable operations team who are engineering, manufacturing and delivering a fantastic standard of work. Developing and retaining talent is a key priority for me, and investment in our apprenticeship and trainee engineer programme is just one of many initiatives we have in place to ensure the business is sustainable for years to come.”
