This year presented a very competitive class of nominees, and three finalists have made it through the rigorous selection process for Oil & Gas Logistics Services Provider 2018.
RSA Talke
RSA Talke is a logistics services provider mainly focusing on chemical, petrochemical and life science companies. It stores solid and liquid bulk, hazardous and non-hazardous materials common in the chemical industry. It also packages and repackages inventory from ISO tanks into drums and IBCs. The company is the product of a joint venture between RSA Global and ALFRED TALKE Logistic Services.
Schmidt ME Logistics
Schmidt Middle East is an Abu Dhabi-based subsidiary of Schmidt, in cooperation with Agility. It leverages a wealth of knowledge in logistics centre construction, outsource contract design, product handling and other services to offer bulk logistics solutions to the region. Schmidt Middle East also provides extensive consulting services to the local chemistry industry.
Tristar Transport
Tristar is headquartered in the UAE and provides liquid logistics solutions across 18 countries. Its expertise in handling chemicals, hydrocarbons, liquid gases and lubricants is complemented by the company’s specialized facilities for warehousing, transport, turnkey fuel supply operations, ship owning and plane fuel services.
Last year, global logistics major Agility won the inaugural Logistics Services Provider of the Year award. One jury member called the company the “largest and most experienced of all logistics company nominees, instrumental in the realisation of oil and gas projects throughout the Middle East and the world.”
Awards will be given on September 12, 2018 at Buddha-Bar, Grosvenor House in Dubai. In the meantime, the jury panel will deliberate and decide a winner. The jury panel: Luciano Poli, president, India, Middle East and North Africa, Dow; Vivek Chandra, CEO and founder, Texas LNG; Nicholas Kjaer, general manager, Middle East, Churchill Drilling Tools; Ben Oudman, regional manager, DNV GL, oil and gas, Continental Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, India and Africa; and Annabel Green, chief technology officer, Tendeka.
