Following key contracts in the region, EPC giant Petrofac is hiring for several key roles across projects, engineering and operations across the UAE.
Some of the new openings are listed below:
Principal Engineer: Mechanical Static and Piping
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Key responsibilities include supervising and leading a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for projects, reviewing ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents during the proposals stage, reviewing contract requirements for project execution.
Senior Engineer: HSE Design
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Key responsibilities include producing deliverables such as HSE design basis, organising and participating in workshops, providing inputs like spacing, building locations, fire proofing requirement, and coordinating with other discipline and work center engineers to ensure that the HSE requirements/study recommendations are implemented in the project design.
Deputy Manager: Mechanical (Rotating)
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Key responsibilities include supervising and leading a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for large and medium sized projects, assuming entire responsibility for conceptual to detailed design and provide necessary technical information, and reviewing of ITT, identification of scope and technical requirements.
Senior drilling engineer
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Key responsibilities include liaising with client production and subsurface teams and service companies, supporting the project team in submission for and the implementation of and adherence to Petrofac and clients project specific HSEQ and legislative requirements. The ideal candidate must know how to prepare of statutory notifications to government and other parties, and will be responsible for composition of all studies, programmes and programme amendments for the construction, re-entry, repair of a well.
Project Manager: Area
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Key responsibilities include leading a team of engineers in the project team and coordination of project resources, handling all the phases of the project and disciplines activities as applicable for the assigned area, closely coordinating with Engineering and participating in engineering/technical decisions, taking into consideration constructability and project requirements, schedule and cost adherence.
