Have you confirmed your tables for the Middle East Energy Awards 2022 set to take place on 23 February? Only two weeks away, ticket sales for the prestigious event are selling quickly. Tickets are priced at AED 1800 per seat and AED 13,500 per table till 18 February, with prices increasing after that.

We are very excited to be able to host this event physically, under strict adherence to safety guidelines. The awards ceremony is a great occasion to recognise the progress that the oil and gas industry has made in the past year, and is an equally strong opportunity to catch up with colleagues and peers in the industry, and to meet and network with industry leaders from across the value chain.

Covering the upstream, downstream and utilities sector, including renewables, the awards include a wide range of categories to ensure the participation of the full value chain.

The categories for this year are:

1. Clean Energy Initiative of the Year

This initiative demonstrates a strategic approach to lowering a company’s carbon footprint through the use of alternative energy.

3. Downstream Project of the Year

The most ambitious, game-changing project in the regional refining and petrochemicals industry.

  • A molecular-level model for RFCC process: ADNOC
  • Waste Head Recovery Project: ADNOC Refining

  • Refinery off-gases recovery project: ADNOC Refining

4. HSE Initiative of the Year

A specific initiative that has demonstrably helped to reduce accidents and problems in the workplace, and has generally improved safety.

5. Talent Development Programme of the Year

An initiative that has made a difference in the industry by training the next generation of professionals, or upskilling the existing workforce.

7. Upstream Project of the Year

8. Utilities Project of the Year

An innovative project disrupting the region’s utilities landscape, offering much-needed hope for a better, more sustainable future.
