International oilfield services company Expro announced that it has been awarded a well testing contract in Holland worth around US$8 million.
Total E&P Nederland has awarded Expro a three-year well testing contract for operations in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The contract has two one-year extension options.
The contract will see Expro provide Total E&P Nederland with specialist well testing services and equipment on all Total’s Dutch sector assets. This contract includes provision of Expro’s high pressure cyclonic desander capability, which removes solids from the well stream.
Chris Mawtus, Expro’s chief operating officer, said: “This is a significant win for Expro in Holland. It strengthens Expro’s position in terms of market share and also demonstrates the confidence Total has in Expro for service quality. This also gives us the opportunity to utilise desander units we invested in recently.
“We look forward to delivering for Total E&P Nederland, further underlining Expro’s market-leading position in North Sea well testing.”
