Mott MacDonald has been appointed by Shell Petroleum International Company to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to Shell distribution engineering projects in the Middle East and Asia region under a global framework agreement.

Shell manages approximately 50 active operational sites in this area for the receipt, storage, handling and onward despatch of a range of petroleum products. The contract will initially cover 10 countries in the Middle East and South East Asia; UAE, Oman, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Mott MacDonald has a presence in all the above countries facilitating local support.

Mott MacDonald’s team in Kuala Lumpur will manage the contract in close co-ordination with Shell MEA distribution regional team based in Kuala Lumpur. Mott MacDonald design centres based in Dubai and India will be providing all engineering and design work for all locations to maintain uniformity in design and cost benefits.
