Seeing as ArabianOilandGas.com is a website that prides itself on its impeccable behaviour and deportment, it comes as a great shock to us to be informed today that we’ve been banned from the Oil Barons Ball, due to be held in Dubai next month.
The organisers of the event have apparently deemed us the literary equivalent of a trouble-making bovver boy and told us that our invitation to attend has been revoked.
We know you all were looking forward to partying down with the hippest, most informative and interesting oil and gas website in the Middle East, but the decision has been made.
So, unless a fairy godmother suddenly appears and gives us a couple of tickets, it looks like come November 20 we’ll be all dressed up with nowhere to go.
