These Awards are extremely important for companies to showcase our best practices, innovative methods, and operational excellence to our customers in the energy sector. Such awards encourage and motivate us to provide better solutions to our customers in a consistent way.
Why, according to you, is it important to celebrate success in the energy industry?
Success in any industry deserves celebration, and especially in the energy industry, which is undergoing tremendous global changes in the face of falling oil prices and the increasing need to innovate and achieve efficiencies to remain profitable.
Achieving success in such a critical industry paves way for achieving better scale and efficiency of operations and helps bring down costs resulting in better customer satisfaction. Thus, success in the energy industry deserves celebration and recognition.
What is it about our awards that made you decide to sponsor it?
Oil and gas industry is one of the most important industries in the world, especially in the Gulf region. With significant investments committed into this field, the growth and sustenance of many economies within the GCC region depend highly on the successful growth of the oil and gas industry.

From our experience dealing with your past winners and our knowledge of the oil and gas industry, especially in the UAE and the GCC region, we feel that your Awards are genuine indicators of operational excellence, quality and performance.
How far do you think our efforts to highlight downstream operations, along with recognising achievements in the upstream segment, through the Awards are justified?
In our opinion, for an industry to truly succeed in its entirety, not only the core sector needs to achieve excellence but also its downstream sector needs to be dynamic and well developed, and should achieve operational excellence in order to fully reap the benefits of growth in the industry and to pass on the benefits of modernisation and technological innovation to the end-users.
Thus, the development of the downstream sector becomes critical for the successful growth and survival of the core sector in any industry. Your Awards are doing the right thing by focusing on the downstream sector, including the logistics part of the value chain, which is the core business of Agility in order to bring operational efficiencies to the players involved in the industry.
