Engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contractor McDermott International, Inc., has appointed Craig Melville senior director – Commercial, for its Middle East business.
Melville, who holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Durham University, has more than 30 years of experience in the upstream and downstream segments within the oil and gas industry working with EPC/EPCI contractors across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
He joins McDermott from Lamprell in Dubai where he was vice president of Business Development.
“McDermott has an envied reputation in the market and it is really an exciting time to be joining them,” Melville was quoted as saying in a press release received by arabianoilandags.com.
“I am looking forward to working as part of the leadership team to further develop and drive the commercial strategy to ensure we remain the pre-eminent EPCI contractor in the region and meet our goals for growth,” he said.
