Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, it owns and operates two terminals in India and the UAE. The company’s UAE terminal is located in Sharjah’s Hamriyah Free Zone. It has an existing capacity of 41,000 cubic metres, with further expansion of 60,000 cubic metres planned in phase three, storing petrochemicals, chemicals, solvents, glycols, base oil, diesel, fuel oil, gas oil, vegetable oil, bitumen, etc.
Developed with separate pipeline connections to the main and inner harbours, the terminal also includes a dedicated deep water berth, making it an ideal hub for break-bulk, trans-shipments and redistribution to the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and East Africa.
ATS Terminals’ India-based terminal Raftaar is located in Karnataka’s New Mangalore Port and can handle a spectrum of petroleum products. This includes naphtha, gas oil, motor spirit, para-xylene, methanol, acetic acid, MEG, HSD and other various hazardous petrochemical products. The terminal also started constructing carbon steel and stainless steel 316L tanks with capacities ranging from 4,000 to 12,300 KL. These also come with four separate dock lines of stainless steel 316L and carbon steel to handle hazardous petroleum and petrochemical products from New Mangalore Port jetties in carbon steel and stainless steel 316L tanks.
Meanwhile, the company is also currently looking to develop more terminals across India. Its new terminal near New Mangalore Port is being built and is expected to be operational by April 2017, with specifications complying with Indian PESO, OISD norms and with all international safety standards.
ATS General Land Transport, a sub-division of ATS World Group, owns a fleet of 450 trucks and trailers catering to local transport within the UAE and the rest of the GCC states. This fleet consists of Mercedes, Volvo and Scania trucks of flatbed trailer, curtain-sided trailer, reefer trailer, customised transport equipment, road tanker, FTL / LTL, skeleton trailer, container trailer, box trailer and heavy lift. In addition, the company has strong affiliations with almost major airlines including passenger and cargo aircrafts, allowing it to offer competitive rates and flexibility.
Dedicated to offering a wide range of logistics services, ATS Terminals provides a variety of sea freight solutions for various kinds of cargo with services such as container freighting, hazardous cargo, special equipment, project and break-bulk, customs clearance, transport and warehouse, cargo insurance and multimodal transport.
The company also owns warehousing facility inside Jebel Ali Free Zone for storing both dry and temperature-control cargo. This is complemented by its transport fleet to distribute across the UAE and the GCC. This is in addition to managing leased warehouses in Europe and India as per customers’ long-term requirements to handle platform and labour resources, storing and stacking, in-plant logistics, transportation, and packaging and palletising.
Some of the value-added services the company offers its customers are sourcing packaging materials, documentations, palletising and shrink-wrapping, stock keeping and inventory control, customs clearance and manpower arrangement.
Other extra features include cargo pumping facilities, shipment hose of various sizes and length of stainless steel wire braided corrugated and composite hoses, and road tanker loading / unloading facilities for which cargo discharge / delivery is monitored / recorded through flow metre and weighbridge.
This is in addition to radar gauging facilities where stocks are monitored and recorded on an hourly basis through raptor gauging system. Also, an automated firefighting is provided with a sprinkler, hydrant system provided with diesel driven pump as back up with security system and CCTV camera to monitor and record around the clock.
