Love’s Trillium CNG has opened compressed natural gas fuelling stations in Aberdeen, Md. and Vancouver, Wash. The new public-access outlets have Ariel compressors via J-W Power with a Trillium hydraulic boost, CP Industries storage and Kraus dispensers.
The new CNG stations are serving customers in Aberdeen northwest of Baltimore near US Highway 40 and Old Philadelphia Road, and in Vancouver, north of Portland, Ore.
Both have twin 200-horsepower Ariel JGQ compressors provided by J-W Power, a 75-horsepower HyC compressor Trillium CNG for faster fuelling, an SPX dryer, four CP Industries storage vessels, and one single and one twin-hose dispenser from Kraus Industries.
Love’s Trillium says it received a grant from the Maryland Energy Administration to help complete the Aberdeen station, and that “the Vancouver facility was designed to primarily meet the needs of Matheson Postal Services and PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division.”
“We see CNG as the most environmentally sustainable fuel for heavy-duty fleets, refuse fleets and transit agencies, and we’ll keep doing our part to move them toward a cleaner future,” Love’s natural gas GM Bill Cashmareck said an announcement.
The company said too that it plans to open an additional, light-duty CNG outlet in early 2017 at an American Natural convenience store in Sewickley, Pa., off I-79 north of Pittsburgh. Two CNG pumps will be added to the store’s current equipment. Love’s Trillium first worked with American Natural to design a CNG system for a site in Harmar, Pa.
Love’s Trillium CNG now operates 65 CNG fueling stations.
