India has received a third shipment of Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) from Sirri Island.
The head of NGL factory, Mohammad Javad Sokhanvar said that the shipment consisted of 100,000 barrels of condensates.
He added that the consignment was prepared by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company in full compliance with safety measures.
“This factory is now fully ready to export propane and butane,” said Sokhanvar.
The NGL factory in Sirri was launched in 2003 and is expected to recover 140 million cubic feet of associated petroleum gas.
It is projected to produce 841 tons of propane, 328 tons of butane, 361 barrels of pentane and 1,250 barrels of gas condensates a day when it comes fully on stream.
