Production at the Kurdish Taoki oilfield near Duhuk will reach 200,000 bpd by the end of 2014, according to Norwegian oil company DNO.

News site Zawya reported that around 40% of the oil produced at the field will continue to be exported.

Taoki oilfield, situated in Duhuk, produced 120.000 b/d last year, but the company expects that the production will be increased to reach 200.000 by the end of 2014.

The company added that 60% of the production was sold in the local market and the rest was exported through oil pipeline in the Feshkhabour area.

DNO has 55% of the project, Genel Energy 25% and the remaining 20% belongs to the Kurdish government.
