Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company (Tasweeq)Â sold a total of 45 million tonnes of petrochemical products in 2013.Â
A report by MENAFN says that the company’s monthly shipment totaled 130 per month during the year. “We are keen on supporting the expansion plans of Qafco and Ras Laffan Refinery,” said Saad Abdullah Al Kuwari, the company’s CEO. On Tasweeq’s diversification of fund resources, he said, “In terms of funding resources, we just go by the banks which are top rated by the ratings agencies. It’s not true that we are depending on banks of any particular region or country.”Â
