The Basra Oil & Gas International Conference, organised by Expotim International Fair Organisation, is now in its fourth consecutive year.

The event will consist of conference and exhibition concurrently as in the previous editions; the conference sessions are going to be organized in the second and third day of the exhibition. The event has quickly grown to become a staple of the oil & gas calendar, both regional and international companies, providing a platform for local companies to assess the products and technologies available to them.

270 exhibiting companies and 8 sponsors from 36 countries are going to be represented in the event
including giants such as Rumalia, Shell, Eni, Linde, Emerson, Petrofac, KBR, Mitsubishi Corp, General Electric, FMC Technologies, China Petroleum Technology & Development Corp, Kuwait Energy and Interpipe.

The two-day conference agenda will revolve around the theme “Iraq: Optimizing Oil Exports With Local Linked Industries”, with sessions covering topics such as expectations of Iraq production capacity in the coming years, drilling & services, road safety innovative technologies, power & water demand and pipeline networks. As well as international and local industry professionals, officials from state companies and ministries (Ministry of Oil and State Company for Oil Projects) will attend the summit. Expected to attract more than 18,000 visitors, the four-day conference and exhibition will create a platform from government instituitons, national oil and gas companies, private sector, and industry professionals that is essential for potential solutions for the fourth consecutive year. The 4th Basra Oil & Gas International Conference & Exhibition will not higlight through the deals and contracts concluded on site by key buyers and decision makers of Iraq’s oil & gas industry, but it will also by its significance to manufacturers who showcase their latest products, confirm the event’s position as a key promotional tool in the industry diary. Since 2012, being an UFI approved event underlines the event’s international standards and showcases its high quality.

4th Basra Oil & Gas as an exhibition project, contemplating and predicting the need of networking which all industrial bodies require without doubt as per se, tries to step even further by continuously attracting and encouraging international companies to reach Basra and connect with local companies and esteemed officials of the state alike for years to come.
