Petrofac opens new offices in Aberdeen and Mexico

UAE-based Petrofac grows Offshore Projects business

Petrofac opened a new office in Aberdeen to support the continuous growth of its Offshore Projects & Operations (OPO) business, the company said.

In line with the increasing scale of OPO’s global business opportunities, Quattro House is the new strategic global hub for the company’s OPO leadership team.

Petrofac also recently opened a second office in Mexico to support expanding operations in the country.

On 1 July 2013, Petrofac took over operations of the Arenque contract area from Pemex, Mexico’s National Oil Company.

This followed the announcement in April 2013 when Petro-SPM – the joint venture bringing together Petrofac and Schlumberger – formally took over operatorship of the Pánuco contract area.
