Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has cautioned jobseekers in the UAE and abroad against fictitious job offers at the national oil company, usually sent to victims through e-mails.
Local media reports said the offers appeared truly convincing as they were signed by a so called HR manager, usually featuring the name and logo of Adnoc or one of its group of companies on their letterheads and pages.
These fraudulent job offers, the company has said, inform the victim that based on his academic qualifications and experience, he has been offered a job opportunity with Adnoc.
Adnoc has clarified that no employee joins the company without a face-to-face interview and the company never asks for any money deposit.
