Oryx Engineering Solutions is celebrating its success at the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards, held in Dubai last night.
The founder, chairman and managaing director of OES, which took home the Outstanding Business Leader of the Year award.
The new facility has been built from the ground up for the new large scale industries. “We’ve been able to lift the standards and capability in country, that’s one of our differentials” said Oryx founder, chairman and managing director Abdulla Ahmed Mannai who received the award. “We have taken the journey, a seven year journey, from concept to fruition, working with customers taking their inputs and designing a facility that meets their requirements,” he said.
The relatively young company is still recording strong growth, as an engineering base facility it will offer various additional services for the industrial segment next year. “We are going to be rolling out service offerings in 2013 with more depth,” said Mannai. “So next year we will see a significant growth, a double digit growth for us as we roll out,” he said.
The Awards, organized by Oil & Gas Middle East and ArabianOilandGas.com the region’s leading information sources for energy professionals, had its third outing last night at the luxury Westin Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
Awards were presented in thirteen categories, and Oryx Engineering Solutions joined Saudi Aramco, Shell, Total and Schlumberger on the winners list.
