Kuwait has extended bidding by 45 days for a North gas project, a local outlet reported. KOC agreed to push the deadline, which was supposed to end this week.

“KOC has decided to extend the bidding deadline for the Jurassic gas projects 4 and 5 by 45 days from today,” the paper wrote.

The two projects will cost an estimated $1 billion, combined. The local newspaper cited KOC sources as saying that 17 firms have been pre-qualified to bid for the project.
