An accident at a drilling tower in Al-Sabriya Refinery claimed the life of one worker, and injured another.
Kuwait Oil Company released a statement revealing that the accident took place at dawn on Thursday, caused by the sudden ignition of accompanying gases during drilling operations at the tower.
The company has formed a committee to investigate the accident and reaffirmed its commitment to the safety of its workers.
