Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) will reportedly cut staff working on oil and gas projects due to the coronavirus pandemic and oil price drop, Bloomberg reported.
The company has already started talks with contractors about cuts, according to an emailed statement, and will review its projects.
PDO is also expecting equipment shortages to impact construction and maintenance works as supply chains are stressed by the virus.
