QatarEnergy and Korea’s Hydrogen Convergence Alliance (H2Korea) signed an agreement to cooperate on hydrogen projects.
The agreement provides a framework of cooperation between developing hydrogen energy sectors in both countries, and to share ideas and specific plans to encourage the growth of the hydrogen industry and the expansion of the hydrogen energy supply, in addition to supporting efforts to accelerate cooperation for hydrogen-related technologies worldwide.
His Excellency Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, and His Excellency Sung-Wook Moon, the Minister for Trade, Industry and Energy in the Republic of Korea witnessed the signing of the agreement in a special ceremony held in Doha.
“We are pleased to sign this agreement in the field of hydrogen energy, extending our strong relations into new horizons of cleaner energy,” Minister Al-Kaabi said. “We look forward to exploring more opportunities of cooperation in hydrogen as well as in solar energies, in addition to our long-established strategic partnership in the field of liquefied natural gas.”
