Emad Ahmad Tifouni, chairman, Kuwait International Fair Company, Hussain Al-Kharafai, chairman of the Board in KIU and Mohammed Fahhad Al-Ajmi, acting general director of the Public Authority for Industry inaugurated on Monday the third edition of The Big 5 Kuwait.
The event is the country’s largest building and construction exhibition. It runs until September 16, 2015 at the Kuwait International Fair, shining a light on new concepts in building and construction solutions from over 200 regional and international exhibitors, representing more than 24 countries.
The third edition of The Big 5 Kuwait boasts of a new zone for Building Interiors Products and a bigger, open-air Plant, Machinery and Vehicles Zone.
Attendees include industry specialists and experts from the construction sector, such as architects, contractors, engineers, interior designers, procurement managers, property developers, real estate developers, and government sector employees.
Ashley Roberts, event director – The Big 5 Kuwait, said: “The Big 5 Kuwait has grown significantly in size and volume in the last three years.
“The presence of senior-level officials from the public and private sectors along with leading exhibitors reinforces the importance of the show in Kuwait’s burgeoning construction sector. The event features 20 free-to-attend continuing professional development (CPD) workshops, delivered by industry professionals.
