This year, the judging panel for the Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East Awards received a competitive crop of candidates for each of the 10 award categories. Each candidate was scrutinized until the judging panel was able to decide on a shortlist, and ultimately one winner and one highly commended nominee were chosen.
The winner of Technical Innovation of the Year 2018:
Saudi Aramco is the winner of Technical Innovation of the Year for its Waterflood Monitoring with Surface-to-borehole Electromagnetics, in partnership with Schlumberger!
Saudi Aramco has won this word for three consecutive years. Its Waterflood Monitoring with Surface-to-borehole Electromagnetics was described by judges as “a major step forward.”
