The Asset Integrity Management Summit 2009, recently held in Abu Dhabi attracted professionals from  regional oil companies to discuss and update their knowledge in the domain.

“Integrity management is one of the most important aspects of asset management, and of course as our facilities are ageing and we need to manage them,” Saleh Abdul-Samad, well integrity team leader at ADNOC subsidiary, Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA, OPCO) told Petrochemicals Middle East.

Commenting about cooperation between different subsidies of ADNOC, Abdul-Samad said: “We exchange ideas with colleagues from different ADNOC subsidiaries. When we implement new technologies in ADMA we share the results with our colleagues.”

“The main challenges sustain production and produce oil in safe manner without jeopardising our facilities. Proactive maintenance helps us to enhance productivity at ADMA,” he added.
