Major event in South Africa all set to go with full line-up of speakers.

Against the backdrop of $180bn worth of investment to be spent on 88 upcoming oil and gas fields in Africa by 2025, and with a resource base estimated at around 128bn barrels of proven oil reserves, the Future Energy Africa Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference is due to take place later this year at the Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 from October 1st-3rd.

The event organisers have highlighted that over 120 government ministers and representatives will attend along with the world’s leading national oil companies, global CEOs and other industry experts. The three day event features a free-to-attend exhibition and more than 50 technical sessions at the Centre of Technical Excellence.

Among the government officials slated to attend are Jeff Radebe, Minister of Energy of South Africa, Charles Keter, the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum in Kenya and Irene Muloni, Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Uganda. Companies such as Eni and WorleyParsons will also be in attendance.
