The Organising Committee of the 24th World Energy Congress announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with IHS Markit, with an eye toward bringing the most relevant individuals, organisations and industries together for the September 2019 Congress in Abu Dhabi.
IHS Markit is a global leader in analytics, data, technology, innovation and finance across every aspect of the energy sector and interconnected fields of mobility, finance and technology. Every year, IHS Markit hosts CERAWeek in Houston, Texas, one of the world’s most prestigious annual executive gatherings of energy industry leaders.
Under the terms of the partnership, the 24th World Energy Congress will provide a platform to which IHS Markit will bring its energy sector expertise and content, in areas of strategic interest to the global energy industry and in alignment with the ‘Energy for Prosperity’ theme of the congress.
Held every three years, the World Energy Congress is the world’s largest, longest-running and most influential energy gathering. Unique in its coverage of the entire energy spectrum from oil and gas to renewables and nuclear, as well as power, the congress provides a forum for the industry’s largest and most diverse conversation.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the 24th edition will take place during 9-12 September 2019 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). It will bring together heads of state, ministers, CEOs, thought leaders and experts – alongside engaged citizens and NGOs – from around the world.
