Offshore contractor Global Process Systems (GPS) has teamed up with PAE Thailand to provide a range of services to the oil and gas industry in Thailand and beyond.

The venture with PAE adds engineering offices in Bangkok, coupled with fabrication facilities in Rayong in the east and Songkhla in the south of Thailand, plus a qualified technical workforce, said GPS.

“We are delighted to be joining forces with the GPS Group, which has built up an impressive international track record and presence in just eight years,” said PAE’s president, Sook Sanan Jotikasthira, in a statement.

GPS has fabrication facilities located in Dubai and Batam, Indonesia, where structures including floating storage production and offloading vessel topsides are built.

The Dubai facility showcased its concept for mini-liquefied natural gas plants at Gastech, while plants in China and Australia are already in operation.

Two of GPS’ Mopus were deployed on Santos’ Maleo field off Indonesia and the Petrofac-operated Cendor field in Malaysia last year.
