GE Oil & Gas is showcasing its extensive range of eco-certified products and latest technologies at Gastech 2009, the international conference and exhibition for the LNG, LPG and natural gas industries being held this week in Abu Dhabi.
“The oil and gas sector continues to be a prime driver for the Gulf regional economies, and GE has been focused on region’s leading oil and gas industry exhibition, Gastech 2009 offers us the ideal platform to highlight our latest technology developments,” Mohammed Ayoub, operations leader – regional general manager, GE Oil & Gas told ArabianOilandGas.com.
Joe Mastrangelo, Vice President – Turbomachinery for GE Oil & Gas, added: “In recent years, private and public sector participants in the oil and gas sector have become increasingly focused on the long-term sustainability of their operations. This is as a result of having to meet the challenge of depleting oil and gas reserves and that of climate change by adopting environmentally-friendly energy solutions. Our participation at Gastech 2009 addresses both of these aspects.”
GE Oil & Gas is showcasing several of its eco-certified products including the BCL centrifugal compressor for sour gas reinjection; the ORegen waste heat recovery system for industrial plants; and integrated compressor line (ICL) technology, which saves energy and avoids associated CO2 emissions.
