Algerian state energy giant Sonatrach has announced that it has made a new hydrocarbon discovery in Algeria.
The discovery was made at Ain Antar East (AARE-1), located at Tinrhert perimeter (bloc 244a). The well has debited from the reservoir of Dévonien 3.56m3/h of oil with a pressure of 180 PSI under duse 32/64.
This new discovery is the seventh discovery Sonatrach during 2009, two in clean effort and five in association.
