Saudi Aramco has opened a new ‘Center for Commercial Coordination’ in Dammam.

The new office aims to provide technical, investment and information support necessary for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow and supply Aramco, as part of a national drive to diversify the Kingdom’s economy and industrial and manufacturing sectors in particular.

The centre aims to stimulate the progress of SMEs by giving them improved exposure to Aramco, and insight’s from the oil giant on how to conduct successful and profitable projects.

Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed, Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, told the Saudi Gazette that opening the centre is another part of the policy of “partners in development”, by which the private sector in the Eastern Province can compete to supply Aramco and other state companies such as SABIC.

Al-Rashed said the Center for Commercial Coordination will deepen the relations between Saudi Aramco and Asharqia Chamber personnel concerned with the development of small and medium enterprises.
