Trans Asia Pipeline Services’ global ambitions are edging closer to fruition as its excellence and experience, balanced with a proactive approach to continuous improvements, is attracting new opportunities in all across the world.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi and having equipment manufacturing and engineering base at Sharjah, UAE, the leading provider of pipeline and process services to the oil and gas, petrochemical and power industries, comprises more than 400 employees. The company is present in 14 countries, meeting needs of clients in pre-commissioning, commissioning and process services in what is an evidently a volatile market.

The ability to offset inevitable industry challenges has been pivotal since the company’s inception in 2001, growing from humble beginnings and focussing on onshore pipelines, before applying its evolving experience and track record over the years to an increasingly vast array of services.

Receiving repeat clients on a regular basis, the longevity of positive relationships formed in the sector and Trans Asia’s ability to provide innovative engineered offering ensure that project schedules are met in a safe and environment-friendly manner.This has helped Trans Asia being considered a dependable company by oil and gas companies and EPC contractors.

In addition, Trans Asia has also entered into a joint venture agreement with UK-based Power Technology Service (PTS) and is offering hot taping, line stopping, under pressure drilling and repair services on pipelines. With Trans Asia’s established network and PTS’ technology and vast track record across water, oil and gas pipelines, Trans Asia is hopeful that very soon it will be recognised as a leading hot tapping service provider in the region.

An additional advantage implemented by Trans Asia as part of its personnel strategy derives from its international presence, yet the ability to instill a local feel into each branch’s operations. As a consequence, the company has as many as 18 different nationalities, forming its truly diversified and global workforce, and sets the tone for its extensive international expansion strategy moving forward.

The company has executed projects all across the GCC, India and South East Asia. In 2016, Trans Asia has also successfully completed a pipeline project in Latin America for a global oil major. It was a technically complex offshore project posing many challenges. In the first place it was a logistically challenging operation being on the other side of globe demanding participation of a multi-disciplinary team located in Argentina, Singapore, the UAE and the UK.

Timely completion of this and many such projects underlines the success of Trans Asia’s global and diverse workforce, as well as highlights its ability to overcome technical as well as local barriers.
