Italian valve manufacturer Valvitalia has acquired UK-based industrial design and engineering firm, Broady Flow Control Limited.
Valvitalia’s chairman and CEO, Salvatore Ruggeri said: “With this further acquisition Valvitalia will reinforce its world market position trading in 77 countries and having more than 1000 employees, operating 12 manufacturing plants and with a turnover of US$450 million. Valvitalia Group will be able to increase its product offering to the advantage of clients all over the world: all kinds of valves, actuators, systems, fittings, flanges and other energy equipment.
Broady Flow Control Limited has, for more than 100 years, been a manufacturer of safety relief valves for oil, gas and power industry as well as specialist valves for the defence industry. Broady operates an Aluminium Bronze foundry producing high integrity castings to the exacting standards of the global defence sector.

Valvitalia will have an operational base in Kingston Upon Hull in the UK dedicated to serving the North Sea market.
Valvitalia has recently worked on several major projects in the Gulf, including the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline Project (ADCOP) where Valvitalia supplied all the mainline 48” ball valves, actuators, station ball and gate valves, station surge relief skids and all the fittings and flanges – across the entire project. It also worked on the Dolphin Taweelah – Fujairah Project supplying many of the valves and fittings. The company has carried out work for Dubai Supply Authority, Qatar Petroleum and Saudi Aramco.
Broady Flow Control supplies both standard and bespoke relief, safety relief, pressure reducing, pilot, fire and gas blanketing valves for the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industries.
