Siemens’s will consolidate its UAE oil & gas office in Abu Dhabi, the company has announced, and will in the process add up to 50 positions in marketing, sales and business development.
Our decision to optimise our organization with the establishment of a new Headquarters in Abu Dhabi is driven by the Siemens strategy to further strengthen our relationship with our customers,” said Tom Blades, CEO of the oil & gas division.
The news comes only a week after Siemens announced it will move its regional headquarters into the carbon-neutral Masdar City development by 2013, a move the oil & gas division will be part off.
