Wison Engineering, Haldor Topsoe sign R&D pact

The close collaboration between Wison Engineering and Haldor Topsoe will provide more environmental, clean and green catalysts and technologies to the Chinese market, as well as achieve successful commercialisation in the near future.

Wison Engineering Service Co today announced that Wison Engineering, its non-wholly owned affiliated company, has signed a collaboration agreement on research and development with Haldor Topsoe.

The two companies have also embarked on an in-depth discussion concerning a wider range of collaboration in the fields of clean energy, chemical development, new technologies, engineering management and market development. Jesper Nerlov, chief technology officer, Haldor Topsoe, Chen Fei, vice president, new business research and development, Haldor Topsoe, along with Liu Haijun, president, Wison Engineering, Chen Huimei, senior vice president, Wison Engineering, and Li Yansheng, chief scientist, Wison Engineering, attended the signing ceremony.

“The research and development collaboration with Wison Engineering will make our catalysts more suitable for the Chinese market demands. The collaboration will play a significant role for our two parties’ continuous success in the Chinese domestic market,” said Nerlov.

“China is in a critical industrial transformation and upgrading period. Through the close collaboration between Wison Engineering and Haldor Topsoe, we look forward to providing more environmental, clean and green catalysts and technologies to the Chinese market, as well as achieving successful commercialisation in the near future,” remarked Fei.

Meanwhile, Wison Engineering will further strengthen its core competence driven by its own technological innovation.”
