Saudi’s $500 billion futuristic city NEOM unveils stunning photos

NEOM has partnered with Getty Images and Unsplash, the world’s largest providers of visual content, to create and distribute an extensive visual library showcasing its diverse and natural environment and giving the world a sneak peek into what they will discover in the years to come.

Last year, NEOM launched its subsidiary company ENOWA, aimed at ensuring world-class, sustainable energy and water systems in the city.

In a statement, NEOM revealed that its goal is to ensure all residents and industries in its project are powered by 100 percent renewable energy.

ENOWA will represent NEOM as the principal shareholder in the world’s largest green hydrogen production plant in an equal joint venture with Air Products and ACWA Power.

The initial release includes more than 200 images of NEOM’s natural landscapes, from coasts, corals and islands to deserts, mountains and coastal plains.

Many of the photos feature the magnificent waters and sea life of the region and its islands, the first of which, Sindalah, will open in Q1, 2024.
