Abu Dhabi-headquartered National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) was established in 1973 and is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) giant that provides total EPC solutions to project owners and operators of both offshore and onshore oil and gas sector.

NPCC engineering provides innovative basic, detailed and offshore engineering solutions utilising the latest and most advanced software. The company has state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, which is spread over an area of 1.3 million sq meters. In 2021, NPCC merged with National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC) and has operations in the Arabian Gulf, South Asia and South-East Asia. It plans to expand to Africa and the Caspian region. According to NPCC, its integration with NMDC has “opened several opportunities due to a broader coverage of the EPC value chain as well as geographical reach.”

NPCC has grown from a “small fabricator to an international EPC company with over 1,400 engineers in four engineering centres, owner of the largest fabrication yard and the largest offshore construction fleet in the MENA region through continuous investment in capabilities and continue to do so,” notes Ahmed Al Dhaheri, CEO of NPCC.
The company owns a fleet of 23 offshore vessels with modern equipment to support its shallow and deep water operations in the oil and gas sector.
