Drydocks World (DDW) has received a safety award for the system used during the successful drydocking of the seismic vessel Seisquest.
The award, presented by Fugro, was given to DDW for the improvement made to safety measures in the yard during the drydocking and repairs, in June this year.
“Safety is our highest priority, and it will always be. We are glad that our commitments to all the HSE measures in place have formed a significant part of the quality services we promise to our customers. We would like to thank Fugro for the recognition, as this reaffirms the importance of a hazard free workplace. The safety culture will remain prevalent across all levels among our workforce,” said Dennis Welch, CEO of DDW-SEA said.
The judging team from Fugro revealed it was impressed by the strong HSE focus established by supervisors of DDW. Seisquest is a 91.6m long seismic vessel.
