Gas Arabian Services wins $37.2 million contract for Aramco’s Zuluf field

GAS Arabian Services Co has secured a $37.2 million contract from JGC Arabia Limited for Saudi Aramco’s Zuluf Onshore oil facilities project.

Scope of work includes pre-assembly of steel structure, steel structure erection, equipment installation, piping, painting and MCS MP support services.

Following the expansion, Zuluf will boost its production capacity from 800,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Arabian medium crude oil to 1.4 million barrels per day (Mbpd) of heavy crude oil.

Zuluf field is a giant offshore oil field located in the Arabian Gulf, approximately 240km north of Dhahran.

In May 2022, Saudi Aramco had jointly awarded JGC Corp and JGC Arabia the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Zuluf AH Increment Central Processing Facilities.
